App Testers
We got to be official "app testers" for local game developer Chris Hancock. He has developed many games including Zoombinis, and Swamptalk, and is in the process of developing a new app for building words. Chris needed some testers, so we gave it a try. At choice time last Friday, kids had a chance to fiddle around with the app, while Chris observed. We will get another chance to try the app in development. Please let me know if your family might want to be an official "app test family" for this word building game for iPads.

Going to Antarctica
Our next math Unit involves Measurement and Data collection. We will be traveling to Antarctica to collect information about penguins. Yay! The journey started on Tuesday, as the class boarded the plane, enjoyed an in-flight snack of cheerios or kix, and then watched a short film about life in Antarctica. Today we boarded a ship, and worked on passports.Wow, this will be an exciting math unit!
