The First Day of First Grade

We had a fantastic day!

We played a "Find- a -Friend " game to get to know each other better.

After some reading time, we explored the new additions to the playground!

After writing workshop, recess and lunch, we practiced counting, and sharing supplies while building together.

It's going to be a great year!

Things to remember for start of school on Wednesday August 26th!

• School now begins at 8:15. I will meet the class at the lineup spot on the lower playground each day.
• Your child will need a snack, water bottle and a lunch plan( either school lunch, or home lunch) each day.
• Please help your child find a comfortable backpack to use daily
• School is now dismissed at 2:50 each day.  Please let me know your child’s plans for dismissal
• The best way to contact me is email susank@mpsvt.org
• My school phone is 225-8220( please call the office during school hours, since I do not answer calls while teaching)
