4 Winds Science- Life Cycle of Frogs

Many thanks to our 4 Winds parent volunteers, Emma, Bhavna and Lead Teacher, Angela. We have had monthly lessons this year and have learned about adaptations in nature. This month we learned about frogs. We saw a puppet show, looked at live tadpoles, made mask, and learned that frogs can jump 17 times the length of their body! Many kids thought they could do that too, but realized it was quite a distance.

Froggy tongues

Real tadpoles....borrowed from Hubbard Park.

This is what 17 kindergarten body lengths looks like!
Please let me know if you would be interested in helping with 4 Winds in first grade. Monthly trainings are offered on Wednesdays. Lessons can be scheduled to meet your needs.
