Gingerbread!

We have been reading a variety of books about gingerbread friends. We read a traditional story about the gingerbread man, we also read a story about a gingerbread girl who can dance and twirl. We have read "Gingerbread Mouse", about a real mouse who find a home in a gingerbread house. We have also enjoyed some stories about a sassy gingerbread baby. Today we actually made some gingerbread cookies of our won. We plan to give these cookies to all of our "helpers" at school as a sign of thanks from the kindergarten.

I plan to bake the cookies at my home and return them to school for decorations tomorrow. The kids warned me not to peek into the oven... I will try to not to, but you never know.....
