Day in the Dark

Day in the Dark

On Friday, December 21^st, the kindergarten classes will be having “Day in the Dark” to reinforce learning about day and night. This will include discussion of the winter solstice, the shortest day, and the longest night of the year! If you have anything at home that would light up the dark, we would appreciate it if you could send it to school.

Here are some suggestions:

·      Flashlights

·      Head lamps

·      Lite-Brite toys

·      Black Lights

·      Glow Sticks

·      Lava Lamps

·      Glow in the dark stickers or beads

·      Disco Balls

We will return the items on that day. Please label your items to assist with returns!

 Please send all items to school by Thursday, December 20^th!!
